Facing the consequences of his arrest earlier this summer, Chris Klein faced arraignment at a Van Nuys, California courthouse on Friday morning (July 23).

While the "American Pie" actor was able to avoid having to be present for the hearing, his attorney Blair Berk entered a "not guilty" plea to the DUI charge racked up on June 16th.

With this not being his first DUI, Mr Klein is facing two misdemeanor charges of DUI with a prior and operating a motor vehicle with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher.

Hoping to help him to elude any jail time, Chris went straight to rehab at Utah’s Cirque Lodge following the arrest, staying for a thirty day program.
