Giving a glimpse of her upcoming TV appearance, Jessica Simpson can soon be seen gracing small screens in an "Entourage" guest spot.
To be aired on August 1st on HBO, the premium network has released a sneak peek to get fans ready for the soon-to-be aired Simpson episode.
In the upcoming "Entourage" installment, Jess plays herself in a role that sees her trying to be wooed back under the representation of agent Ari Gold - who uses the help of a canine companion named Rose.
The TV appearance comes as ill-conceived rumors tell that Miss Simpson's new beau Eric Johnson is only with her for her money, with insiders laughing off the Star magazine claims.
With brand new seasons of our favorite shows right around the corner, CBS has just released the premiere dates for its Fall 2010 lineup.
The network will once again rely heaving on its two hit franchises, "CSI" and "NCIS," while comedy shows such as "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother" continue to turn in respectable numbers.

Out for yet another press event, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were spotted racing each other on BBC’s “Top Gear” earlier today (July 22).
The “Minority Report” stud and the “Charlie’s Angels” chick took to the track to promote their new movie “Knight & Day” just outside London, England.
As for the best driver, it seems Tom came out on top. An inside source told press, "Tom is a real pro behind the wheel... Cruise was definitely the best. He knows his stuff.”
“But Cameron... she is feisty and certainly drives with gusto. She didn't like having manual transmission, but she had fun with it. A lot of laughing and a lot of cursing, which will have to be bleeped out."

The "Favorite Girl" singer will make his much-anticipated acting debut on the season opener of hit CBS crime drama "CSI".
According to network reports, the 16-year-old Canadian singer will be playing a character named Jason McCann - “a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother."
With the episode slated to air on Thursday, September 23rd, insiders tell that the character may very well appear later in the seventh season, as well.
